He did attempt to escape his father\u2019s enthusiasm for metalwork and his mother\u2019s steely determination. But after training in mechanical manufacturing, going to business school and a few years in an automotive manufacturer\u2019s methods department, he went back to the family calling!<br \/>\nJean-Luc Rosier joined the company in <strong>1994<\/strong>, 20 years after his parents created <strong>T\u00f4lerie Fine Electronique<\/strong> in the Paris region.<br \/>\nHis father, an aviation mechanic who was a supervisor in a metalworks company, set up his own business in <strong>1974<\/strong> and his mother became TFE\u2019s secretary and book keeper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The first orders for bespoke sheet metal parts were manufactured at home.<\/strong>. Bernard Rosier purchased second hand cutting and bending machines and installed them in his garage. He began working as a subcontractor for his previous boss, and then for a telephone industry player. A stage scenery manufacturer was also his customer for many years. His creativity became recognised and the market began to grow.<br \/>\nA passionate angler, the tradesman often went mackerel fishing in Brittany. During the summer of <strong>1977<\/strong> he started looking for premises near the <strong>C\u00f4tes d\u2019Armor<\/strong> coast and then transferred his business there. Growth and regular investment in ever more innovating machines meant that new premises were needed.
