Welding and Assembly

Mechanically welded parts are produced in the TFE workshops

TFE controls the entire production line by its use of internal welding and assembly stations.

Welding is used to assemble a wide variety of sheet metal. Depending on the purpose of the part and the required finish quality, TFE advises its customers on the technique to use.
TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas), is finer and has aesthetic qualities.
MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas) welds are faster and have greater mechanical strength.
TIG and MIG welds are used for stainless steel and aluminium. TIG and MAG welds are preferred for steel.

TFE welders are all qualified and licensed, meaning they can weld steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Specific works

Two workshops

Two workshops are reserved for welding, one for TIG and MIG, the other for TIG and MAG welding.

The bespoke, mechanically welded sheet metal, bar and tube structures assembled by our metal workers and welders can be used for machined parts. Assembly is on demand, the finish is clean and neat.
Stud or nut welding, screwed or riveted assembly, TFE services are customised to your expectations and your trade applications.

The business is careful of its machinery, the safety and working conditions of its staff at all steps in production.
